Sophie is a sound designer, singer-songwriter, sound artist, audio engineer, and certified Tonmeister whose work spans theatre, dance, concerts, installations, and studio recordings. Music, sound, and voice are her mediums for expressing what longs to be heard and told, for reaching toward greater love and genuine connections. Her practice demonstrates a refined sensitivity to musicality, tonal balance, timbre, texture, and spatial perception. Blending aesthetic sensitivity with technical expertise, she crafts sonic experiences that resonate deeply and invite emotional engagement and reflection.

She has collaborated with artists and organizations including Anne Bogart, Lee Sunday Evans, En Garde Arts, Irina Kruzhilina, Dmitry Krymov, Marilyn Nonken, Maureen Fleming, and Talking Band. Her sound design work has been presented at venues and festivals such as La MaMa, Under the Radar, ArtsEmerson, The DiMenna Center, and IATI. She holds a Master of Music in Music Technology and an Advanced Certificate in Tonmeister Studies from New York University.
